Nestled amongst the hedge row and surrounded by woodland in the Black Mountains is Hay Hideout Huts. The hut is in a remote (off-grid) setting just below Hay Bluff, and is 1,000 feet above Sea level.

(The hut is situated in a field of its own - 1 acre, so you won't be disturbed). The hut has been lovingly hand crafted, providing comfortable accommodation set within 120 acre farmland, and sympathetically situated within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

There are plenty of wonderful walks and cycle routes to enjoy, as well as it being an ideal location in which to explore Hay-on-Wye and the surrounding area further. There is an abundance of wildlife - (Muntjac deer, fox, badger, hare, rabbit, dormice, red kite and bat to name but a few - keep a look out).

The hut is supplied with everything you need. The hut is designed for 2 people, and offers warmth and comfort with a luxurious king-size bed, kitchen (gas hob, sink, fridge, dining area - inside and out) for quiet intimate suppers and a wood burning stove to make those chilly evenings extra cosy. The hut is fully insulated. En-suite bathroom - (shower and flushing toilet facilities within the hut). The hut power is generated by a solar panel (12v), offering lighting, radio, TV and USB port to charge your phone. (Power capacity is weather dependent).

The site contains important examples of unimproved meadowland and pasture, and is of a series of grassland sites considered to be of national significance for nature conservation. (Here the sward contains such notable plants - Globe flower, Greater butterfly orchid, Fragrant orchid, Bitter vetch, Adder's tongue and Meadow saffron).
The site is located next to an SSSI (site of special scientific interest). The site contains important examples of unimproved meadowland and pasture, and is of a series of grassland sites considered to be of national significance for nature conservation. Enhanced Clean. The host is committed to Airbnb's 5 step enhanced cleaning process. i.e. mopping floor, using anti-bacterial cleaning products on all services, washing linen on a high heat, disinfecting high-touch items like door handles and ventilation.
